UPON YOUR ARRIVAL: FIRST POLE DANCING LESSON

Plan your time so that you can be at school 10 minutes before the start of the course. Especially if it is your first time here. This is just general information for your first Pole Dance Lesson.

Being earlier in the area, you will be able to familiarize yourself and choose the pole where you’ll practice.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to discuss with the instructor and your classmates, before the start of the lesson and break the ice.
If you arrive at school 15 minutes after the start of the course you might not be allowed to enter the classroom. This is purely for safety reasons because you will have missed the chance of warming up properly.

DO NOT USE BODY/HAND LOTION

This is something that must be strictly followed! Hand cream, oils, moisturizing, etc. will make the pole slippery and dangerous. Try opting out of all these products the day of the lesson.

WHAT DO I NEED TO WEAR IN MY FIRST POLE DANCING LESSON?

It is most likely that you have already been informed by the school you have chosen, when you register. If not, you can contact them in order to inform you of specific rules and for further guidelines. We like to encourage for beginners to wear Gym attire long pants or leggings. Many ask do I wear heels ? We prefer you start barefoot once you are more familiar with the Pole then we encourage heels.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE WITH YOU

  • A bottle of water always stay hydrated. We sell water for your convenience also.
  • Food (other than water) is prohibited within the premises of the school. If for any reason you want to eat before or after the lesson you can do that after.
  • Two small towels will be useful not only to clean yourselves from the sweat, but also to clean your pole .
  • Also its a plus to have rubbing alcohol with you .

LEAVE YOUR JEWELRY AT HOME

In general, the fewer jewelry the better. It may be lost or you might injure yourself. In addition, the contact of jewelry (especially the rings) with the pole will create scratches destroying its coating.

TURN OFF YOUR MOBILE PHONE

This is something that is rigorously applied in all classrooms, not just in Pole Dancing schools . If you need to call, please inform the instructor and excuse yourself in order to go out from the classroom and talk.
